She is youngest daughter from Italian father Barry Nelson and Mexican mother Josie Nelson. She has 3 older brothers: Nathan Neal, Nick and Neal. Her family was a mixture of parents in Concord California. Although she had the dream of becoming a pro soccer player when she was a child however, a sprain to her ankle in her senior year in high school prevented this from ever happening. The injury healed and resume playing soccer as a forward Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill California. At Diablo Valley College, she received her associate degree. She was awarded Junior College All-American and transferred to Arizona State University, where she ceased playing soccer because of doubts about herself. After this she transferred to California State University Fullerton and received a BA in business administration and a minor in human resource management. Then she moved to Los Angeles after completing her studies to pursue a model, acting, and promotional career. She then came to an audition with W.W.E. through chance, and after impressing the talent scouts she achieved a four-week tryout period. After that, she relocated to Orlando, Florida. There she started her training at an organization called the Performance Center of the company. Total Divas W.W.E is a reality TV show that was launched in May 2013. show.
